Randy To The Rescue

I shot all three background packages for the recent Oklahoma City Episode of TLC’s Randy To The Rescue. The episode aired on June 7, 2013. This is a segment from their website called “Randy Rescues Sarah.” I shot all of the interviews and footage of Sarah, her folks and her fiance in this video at their ranch in Elk City, OK.

We Are Bedford

Had the chance to collaborate this month with Andie Redwine and By The Glass Productions on this short promotional film for the city of Bedford, Indiana. We shot for a week in Bedford and then edited the video together for a presentation the city had. Happy to see the finished product on YouTube.

I shot on the Canon 5D Mark III and edited with FCPX. I’m really loving the Mark III. Thanks to Andie for writing a great script and working with me to produce a video we can all be proud of. Bedford is a fantastic community and it was a great experience capturing and sharing their story.

Tornado Aftermath, On the Ground in Oklahoma

Honored to be shooting for Samaritan’s Purse this week in Oklahoma as they get started helping people clean up and get back on their feet. My Dad, 73 years young, works for Samaritan’s Purse. It’s great to get a chance to see up close how the organization works. They do an amazing job. Being at ground zero in some of the hard hit neighborhoods is an incredibly moving experience. I will never forget. I shot the above video for them yesterday in the hardest hit area of Shawnee.

Kevin Durant’s Olympic Games Challenge

File under reasons I love my job. A few weeks ago, my good friend Christopher Hunt of Midwest Media called me in to help shoot this spot for GE’s series of Olympic Games Challenges.

I gaffed the interview and ran sound and was thrilled to be a part of it. I like the way it turned out. Nice, simple and to the point. And Kevin Durant couldn’t have been nicer. #ThunderUP #HookemHorns and #GoTeamUSA
